GoPro Hero 12 Black Unveiled With Wireless Audio and Extended Battery Life: Price and Features
GoPro has updated its range of action cameras on the market with the new GoPro Hero 12 Black, which comes with a host of improvements, including the promise of longer battery life. GoPro has usually focused on basic upgrades in newer models, but this year’s Hero camera also ensures vloggers can get the most out of their audio equipment. The camera still has the same battery, so the improvements are clearly on the software side.
GoPro Hero 12 Black Price in India
The GoPro Hero 12 Black is priced at Rs 45,000 and you also have the GoPro Hero 12 Black Creators Edition with Media Mod, Light Mod and Volta grip accessories for Rs 65,000. GoPro is taking pre-orders for the Hero 12 Black camera, which will go on sale on September 13.
GoPro Hero 12 Black features
The new Hero camera can shoot at 5.3K resolution in HDR mode, which GoPro claims lasts up to 70 minutes on a single charge, which is double the backup that the Hero 11 Black offers. If you reduce the video quality, the backup time will only increase. GoPro also brings Bluetooth support for audio devices such as wireless headphones, helping you record audio at the same time as video.
The next big update comes in the form of Max Lens Mod 2.0, which takes the video field from 156 degrees to 177 degrees, also in 4K resolution at 60 fps. The built-in camera allows you to take 27 megapixel photos and the action camera can also record long videos underwater.
The company also has a bunch of accessories worth checking out, and you also have the Quik app for playing games and editing photos on desktop, which is only available to GoPro subscribers. The desktop app will be released in December of this year for Mac users, while those using Windows PCs will have to wait until summer 2024 to get the app.
